Is the app free?
Yes, the Pelooc app is free to download and use.
How does it work?
Once you have created your profile and you need to set your availability and gigs to get booked.
Important: photolovers can see your profile and book you
- for instant booking: only when you are online;
- for future photo shoots: only if you have available slots open on your calendar.
When a photolover books a photo shoot the app collects the payment, so that your money are secured. Once the photo shoot is completed and you’ve sent the photos to the photolover, you’ll need to mark the photos as delivered in the app, then your payment will be automatically processed.
What services can I provide through Pelooc?
The services you can provide through Pelooc are:
- Mobile photo shoot
- Mobile photo shoot + photo editing
- Camera photo shoot
- Camera photo shoot + photo editing
When you set your rates please consider that those will be intended for a 30 minutes session. If you get booked for longer sessions (max 2 hours) the final price will automatically adjusted. For each 30-min session, you have to deliver at least 10 photos. Photos must be delivered to your photolover within 24 hours from the end of the shoot (or 2 hours, in case of mobile shoot without editing).
How can I decide when I’m available and when I’m not?
You can make yourself available/unavailable for instant booking by activating/deactivating the instant booking button on the app home.
Click the button “manage your calendar” on the app home, to set your availability for scheduled photo shoot.
Can I use the photos for my own portfolio or social media?
You can, but we always recommend to check with your photolover first and make sure he/she is ok with that.
Sometimes photolovers may prefer to keep the photos private, or they could ask you to wait for them to be the first posting online.
The happiness of photolovers must be always our priority. A happy photolover is most likely to be a recurring photolover, and to book you over and over again in time.
Are photolovers supposed to credit me for the photos?
We encourage photolovers to credit both Pelooc and the phototaker when sharing their photos online. However, giving credit is not an obligation, it’s completely at their own discretion and we never force them to do so, for any reason.
When and how do I get paid?
The app collects the payment from the photolover at the time the booking is confirmed, this way you know that your money are secured. When the photos have been taken and sent to the photolover, the platform automatically transfers the money to the phototaker (net of service fee), crediting the phototaker’s bank account.
Why does Pelooc apply a service fee? And how much is that?
The Pelooc app is offered to both phototakers and photolovers for free, without registration costs or paid subscription. Therefore, in order to cover the costs of development, maintenance and promotion of your phototaker profile and of the platform itself, we implemented a shared revenue model, where, on each booking, the phototaker earns a higher portion of the order amount (70%), and Pelooc a smaller portion of 30%.
Why do I need to fill out a KYC form?
KYC stands for “Know Your Customer” and the KYC form is required in order to collect your bank details, useful to process the payments at the completion of each order. For more information you can click here.
Can I decline a request for instant booking?
Yes, when you get a request for instant booking you’ll have 5 minutes to either accept it or decline it.
Can I cancel an instant booking after I've already confirmed it?
You can cancel after confirmation, however a cancellation fee may apply.
Can I cancel a scheduled photo shoot?
If you cancel a scheduled photo shoot a cancellation fee will be automatically applied. However, you have the option to request your photolover to reschedule the photo shoot. You can only request to reschedule once, so before doing that, make sure the bookable slots on your calendar are set when you are actually available. You can also include a message to your photolover in your reschedule-request, where you can suggest your preferred day/time for the photo shoot.

Yes, but you have to create two separate accounts, with two different email addresses, one as a phototaker and one as a photolover.
